Following on from our very successful “River Safety Day” I have confirmed Paul McNally(http://swiftwatertraining.ie/ to give us an evening’s worth of “Basic River First Aid”( CPR, Hypothermia, Dislocations etc,)
Also invited is Barry Redmond who is a “REC” provider to give his thoughts on “REC” he will have along with him a selection of Compact First Aid Kits.

The Club was well represented with Jim, Garven, Bernard, Mairead and Conor at the recent Sluice/Stackallen Rodeo.
Sluice is affectionately known by Irish Paddlers as Dublins Premier Playspot. A stomping ground of Irish paddlers and massive challenge to anyone paddling something skinny. With no rain and the rearranged Liffey Descent unfortunately the ESB could not give a flood on the river meaning no event at Sluice, so the back up plan was made….. Stackallan on the River Boyne, Co Meath
